If you’re in the Rochester, New York area, come visit the RAPID team at this year’s Ask the Carrier Conference, held by the Monroe County Medical Society. We’ll be there on April 10, from 7:30 am – 3:30 pm, along with many other Health Plans and Accountable Care Organizations. The Monroe County Medical Society is an important community organization and a valuable resource for the healthcare community, which is why we support their organization as a silver sponsor each year. We’ll also have a table set up with lots of information on all of our services. Come by and learn more about RAPID!
The Ask the Carrier conference is a way for individuals from various Health Plans and Accountable Care Organizations in the Rochester area to educate, and get to know one another. This year, the first presentations will be on policy changes, administrative and operational processes and procedures, and minimizing administrative burdens. Every hour will include a 20-minute presentation, followed by 40 minutes of follow-up discussion and questions. According to the MCMS website, some payers will focus on primary or specialty care during their talks.
As members of the Monroe County Medical Society, we at RAPID know how important it is to network locally. If you’re in the Rochester area, please consider joining us next week! Even if you can’t make the event, the MCMS is a great way to build connections and learn more about the upcoming trends in healthcare, and improve the health of individuals in Monroe County.
