An Important Message During Hurricane Season

On September 5, Florence became the first major hurricane of the season. On September 12, Joyce formed, making 2018 the first season since 2008 to feature four named storms active simultaneously (Florence, Helene, Isaac, and Joyce). With the formation of Leslie on September 23, the season is the first on record to see six subtropical storms (Alberto, Beryl, Debby, Ernesto, Joyce, and Leslie). On October 9, Michael became the second major hurricane of the season, and a day later, it became the third-most intense hurricane to make landfall on the United States in terms of pressure, behind the 1935 Labor Day hurricane and Hurricane Camille of 1969.

RAPID Healthcare Solutions supports over 300 provider organizations in the regions impacted by this season’s hurricanes.  We send our well wishes to those who may have been affected by Hurricane Michael and extend our resources to you.   We understand the technical issues and workflow problems extreme weather can cause. Those should be the least of your problems, that’s why we’re here to help. We encourage you to call our technical support line (or your dedicated account manager) to help you get your bearings and find peace of mind.  If you aren’t a RAPID Healthcare Solutions customer, we are still ready to take your call and assist in any way we can.
